LAND with BIG SHED! Black Mountain

Poor health forces sale of this 6.5 acre parcel of land which includes an enormous shed with living space. Owned by a boat builder the land is elevated and has a pleasant outlook over surrounding farmland and Noosa Hinterland. Fred the owner has owned 34 Butterfly Lane since 1988. He had been living on his 36ft boat in the Noosa River but had decided he needed a more sedate yacht.
He purchased the block with the express purpose of erecting a shed in which to build a 40ft catamaran. The shed he built was big enough to easily accommodate this building process and still have room for a comfy little flat as well. The boat was named "Butterfly" and was launched in 1996.
The block has an ideal house site that takes in views of Kenilworth Bluff to the west and the wonderful vista of Cooroy Mountain to the east. Fred populated the block with samples of Australian trees including Browns Pine, White Cedar and Kauri Pine. A creek winds its way through the bush at bottom of the property.
Fred never got around to building his pole home with ocean glimpses, he was too busy travelling overseas and around Australia. He sailed and caravanned around Australia with his partner, Sue. The shed was a perfect 'grey nomad' base being able to house both the caravan and the 4WD Land Cruiser whilst they lived in the flat.
It is with sadness that the block has to be put up for sale but Fred is now unable to live in the bush on his own.
